Awais joined the Core Recruitment team as a Recruitment Consultant in November 2022, specialising in sourcing high quality candidates which meet the needs and requirements of the charities he works with.
Before that, Awais worked as an Employer Account Manager in the employability sector. He collaborated closely with employers, helping them become disability-inclusive and aiding candidates with disabilities and other barriers to find sustainable employment. Awais’s journey into the charity sector was influenced by being a beneficiary of programs run by well-known foundations, which opened his eyes to the sector’s importance and impact.
Awais is really into social justice causes and specialises in Marketing and Communications. He’s all about helping charities get their message out there and make a difference. But he’s not just limited to those roles – He takes pleasure in recruiting for essential roles within mission led organisations.
