Environment & Sustainability Recruitment

At Prospectus we have significant experience recruiting for organisations at all intersections of environment and sustainability. We leverage our extensive network and in-depth sector knowledge to identify candidates who not only possess the technical skills but also share your commitment to sustainability.

About our Environment & Sustainability Recruitment

We’re passionate about connecting mission-led candidates to great organisations that are making an impact for people, and increasingly for the planet. From organisations campaigning for a change in public approach and attitude, those holding government and corporations to account for their impact and carbon footprint, through to organisations using technology to harness natural resources sustainably to power economic development.

As recruiters who are devoted to equality, diversity and inclusion, we understand the importance of diversity of thought in terms of how to tackle climate change and build resilience against its impacts. We know that this global threat requires people from every demographic in order for our clients to create the solutions and impacts that they are working on.

Our International Development specialism works with organisations who are supporting social justice for those who are facing the very real impacts of climate change in the global south as well as those who are supporting resilience projects such as rainforest restoration and provision of vital resources such as water.

Food Waste is another key area of focus with a recognition of the need to reduce waste and increase effective food redistribution. Organisations such as Hubbub, the Trussell Trust and Fair Share are regular clients. We also support a number of organisations that work to create more sustainable and regenerative farming methods.

In terms of sustainability, we also support organisations that are focussed on the development of a circular economy, wasting fewer materials, reusing, repurposing, and protecting the finite resources our planet houses.

We also take our own commitment to sustainability seriously
