The UK’s first recruitment agency to be accredited with B Corp status.

What is a B-Corp?

The B Corporation Movement’s collective vision is of an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy.

Being a B Corp means that we meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose.

It means being a ‘better business’, prioritising constant improvement to ensure that we continuously exceed the expectations, demands and needs of our staff, society and the planet.

Today, a growing community of nearly 4,600 Certified B Corps from 78 countries and more than 155 industries work together toward one unifying goal – to redefine success in business.

Find out how we score

In order to be verified as a B Corp we undergo an external accreditation which is a rigorous assessment of our impact on our governance, workers, customers, community, and environment based on our responses to over 300 questions.

Overall B Impact Score

2022: 82.5 | 2018: 90.9 | 2016: 85.7

Detailed scoring

Our focus and commitment to consider our social and environmental performance is enshrined in our articles of association. We have a Board of Directors that includes at least one independent member and we are fully registered to pay tax in the United Kingdom and do not use any tax avoidance schemes.

Every member of the Prospectus team, as well as our supply chain, is paid the Living Wage. Our whole team is eligible to be part of our stock option programme. In addition we pay enhanced benefit packages across maternity, paternity and sick pay.

We follow best practice guidance on inclusive hiring practices including blind reviews of applications and targeting underrepresented groups. Prospectus is majority owned by underrepresented groups and we regularly monitor our diversity performance across the whole organisation. Over 50% of our company managers identify as women and over 30% identify from other underrepresented social groups. All our team are entitled to 6 days of paid volunteering time every year.

At our last assessment we were working across a virtual office and scored lower than previous years on environment. Our ambition at our next assessment is to significantly improve our performance in this area through scoring our current working practices of sourcing energy from renewable sources and tracking our energy usage.

We monitor and track customer satisfaction for our services and ensure any marketing, advertising or activity is line with accurate, ethical and positive practices. We have robust data security and data privacy policies and procedures. We are externally audited under ISO 9001:2015 to ensure all our processes are in line with best practice.

Our Impact Report

B Corp accreditation has elevated our purpose by providing focus and bringing together all the talent in our organisation to deliver common goals above and beyond recruitment.
