The opportunity to adapt and respond: What’s the board got to do with it?

The Covid-19 crisis has challenged charities to rethink and redefine much of what they do. Whilst the sector has proved itself to be adaptable and agile, charity trustees have faced unprecedented challenges. Many trustees are stepping up to the challenges, supporting the leadership, getting behind doing things differently, and thinking positively about the future.

This event brought together previous Charity Governance Award winners to talk about how their governance has been helping through the crisis. The Charity Governance Awards is an initiative organised by The Clothworkers’ Company in partnership with NPC, Prospectus, and Reach Volunteering. The Awards shine a light on good governance across the UK and inspire others to “raise the bar”.
