Dallaglio RugbyWorks appoints new Chief Executive

Prospectus is pleased to announce that Dallaglio RugbyWorks has appointed Jason Worthy as Chief Executive, succeeding Rachel Roxburgh who is stepping down after nine successful years.

Jason will join RugbyWorks later in February 2020 and brings a wealth of experience from the fitness and charity industries. Starting as a personal trainer, Jason eventually became President and CEO at Life Fitness. Throughout his career Jason has held roles that have involved profit and loss leadership as well as responsibility for purchasing, corporate fundraising and technology. Jason is also a founding trustee of the Scotty’s Little Soldiers charity which provides support, counselling and guidance for children who have sadly lost a parent who served in the British Armed Forces. In his spare time, Jason coaches at Bracknell Rugby Club and supports Northampton Saints.

Upon his appointment, Jason said:

“I am honoured to be joining the team at Dallaglio RugbyWorks. From the moment I learned more about the mission I was immediately compelled to get involved. I have been extremely impressed with the work the team has done to date under Rachel’s leadership and am excited to start working with the Staff and Board of Trustees to continue the evolution of this fantastic charity.”

Chair of Dallaglio RugbyWorks, Matthew Key commented:

“We are very excited by the appointment of Jason as our next CEO and believe his track record and experience in his executive career mean that he possesses what we were looking for in our next Chief Executive to take RugbyWorks forward.”

The Charity’s FounderLawrence Dallaglio said:

“This is a key moment for me. I never envisaged 10 years ago when I set up the charity, we would have achieved so much and be such an important player in the sport for development space. This has been driven by Rachel’s leadership, energy and passion, and for that I am indebted.“
