Firas is a Senior Recruitment Consultant in the Fundraising team specialising in the international development/humanitarian sectors. He enjoys working with both well-established and new upcoming charities in the UK and internationally. Firas successfully supported many of his favourite charities such as UK for UNHCR, NRC in UK, Plan International, WaterAid and others with their recruitment needs.
Before joining Prospectus, Firas was an experienced humanitarian professional with a background in refugee protection, international development, and human rights. He has worked with the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) in various roles and contexts, providing interviewing, assessing, and counselling services to refugees, asylum-seekers, and other persons of concern in both Romania and Lebanon.
Firas holds a Master’s degree (MA) in Political Studies and a Master of Laws (LLM) in Transnational Crime and Justice, and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Development.
Firas is passionate about humanitarian causes, human rights, advocacy and international development.
