Digital Lead

Cruse Bereavement Care has been supporting, educating and empowering society to better understand bereavement for 60 years. They also offer individual support, information and advice which is currently mainly on the phone or in a face to face setting. Cruse Bereavement Care is now looking to expand their offering to include more digital avenues and need a Digital Lead to achieve this.

The overall purpose of the role is to develop and implement a new digital strategy following the investment of the Lottery Digital Fund. The Digital Lead will lead on the full product development lifecycle, from gathering user insights and requirements through to managing and delivery ongoing optimisation and being an internal champion for digital engagement.

The appointed candidate was a Creative Director at Agency.com and led pioneering projects for Barclays and T-Mobile before specialising in the not-for-profit sector. As a Senior Strategist they led accounts for Macmillan Cancer Support, Guide Dogs for the Blind, the Electoral Commission and the Department for Education.  As a Director at Public Life they delivered award-winning brands, websites and experiences for some of the UK’s leading charities.
