As one of the largest charitable providers of services for people living with mental illness, they are well placed to make a direct impact on the care people receive.
The new Kinship Peer-to-Peer Support Service which received £1mil Government funding (through the Department for Education), the first of its kind, is being developed to provide those carers with emotional support and help them build communities in their local area.
