This year was the first virtual awards ceremony for the Charity Governance Awards. Although we couldn’t be together at Clothworkers’ Hall to raise a glass, we were still able to applaud the inspiring work of the 21 shortlisted charities. This year, the awards received more than 120 amazing entries to the awards, and the shortlisted charities have raised the bar on what good charity governance in the UK should look like.

The ‘keynote speaker’, Becca Bunce, provided an amazing and insightful article about trusteeship. Read ‘Becca Bunce on Governance, Small Actions and Big Impact’ here. A thought provoking piece about changing the way we think, personally and as trustees or charity professionals.

The virtual ceremony was hosted on social media – mainly on Twitter, but also Facebook and LinkedIn. You can find it with the #CharityGov20 hashtag.
