Welcome to our leadership spotlight series, where we ask each leader 10 quick-fire questions so that we can give a little insight into the person behind a leadership role.

As Chief Executive of Heart of England Forest, Beth is very proud to be leading a team of staff and volunteers on the largest woodland creation scheme in the country.

In a very diverse role, Beth is responsible for the strategic development and operational management of the charity. From tree planting and woodland management planning, to farming and agroforestry, from brand development, working with corporate and other funding partners and engaging the public. Beth also leads their groundbreaking learning programme and manages the trading arms of the charity – from their marinas, woodland burial site, holiday cottages and caravan park to the farm – which all help to secure the income required to realise their vision.
