Prospectus is delighted to be supporting Vintage Trains in recruiting a new Fundraiser to join their organisation. This is a part-time, permanent role that will focus on the strategy, development, and delivery of their future income generation. 

Vintage Trains Charitable Trust supports the preservation, operation, and educational use of Britain’s steam heritage, centered around Tyseley Locomotive Works. The Trust ensures historic locomotives, engineering skills, and educational experiences are protected for future generations.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the development and building of the organisation's fundraising capacity and help grow sustainable income. Working across a variety of income streams and with lots of potential for growth, this role will develop fundraising campaigns across multiple donor channels. It will work closely with key internal and senior stakeholders to grow a new network and opportunities for income generation growth. 

To be successful within this Fundraiser role, this person will need proven experience within fundraising and be able to demonstrate income generation growth. They will have worked across various income streams and be confident as a sole fundraiser who is both strategic and developing fundraising relationships and campaigns. 

This is a part-time role of 2.5 days per week and with a salary of £60k FTE (prorated £30k per annum). With hybrid working, this role will have some on-site presence in Birmingham.
