Prospectus is delighted to be supporting Essex & Herts Air Ambulance in the search for a Legacy and In-Memory Manager to join the growing fundraising team. Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity and is a free life-saving service that is provided 24/7 by helicopters and by rapid response vehicles.

The Legacy and In-Memory Manager is a new role and will be responsible for leading fundraising across legacy and in-memory income streams. This role will create, develop, and deliver legacy marketing campaigns and enhance the stewardship programme to retain existing donors and acquire new potential legacy and in-memory donors. Working within the philanthropy team, this role will have support from others, but will also get to work cross-team to identify legacy and in-memory opportunities.

To be successful as the Legacy and In-Memory Manager, you will have experience within legacy and in-memory or individual giving fundraising. This person will need to demonstrate strong relationship development and management skills, and grow income and support from these relationships. They will be able to work both within a team and at times autonomously. Ideally, they will have a passion for the cause or be keen to learn about the air ambulance sector.
