I work very hard and want my time to be spent making a difference. It gives me the chance to work with people and other organisations that are driven by the same purpose.

I believe in the notion of paying it forward. The life I get to live today, is because of the sacrifice and determination of those that came before me. It’s now my portion of the race and I will not drop the baton of pushing social justice and equity forward.
I want to make a difference and to serve people who are facing difficult times.
Change never ‘just happens’. It needs to be led, but not necessarily by you.
Trust your colleagues, assume the best intent and require them to take responsibility.
Your job, above all else, is to think: make sure you give yourself time to do that.
I want to use my skills for good; we can all create positive change.
Don’t give someone constructive criticism then because you feel bad say sorry.
I’ve always wanted to do something valuable with my life, and the idea of working for an organisation that existed to make money was never appealing.
I have the privilege of being able to choose a career – to not use it purposefully seems such a waste.
