Ryan began his career in Alumni and Events Development and was involved in his first fundraising campaigns at a school in Kent and later at the University of Sussex and University of Michigan. After a successful two years in professional fundraising, he transitioned into Fundraising and Development recruitment for a Chicago-based organisation, working with organisations across the charity, social impact, and performing arts sectors. 

Since joining Prospectus as a Recruitment Consultant in July 2015, Ryan has progressed to lead our Recruitment and Fundraising Divisions. He has spearheaded significant appointments for UNICEF UK, Roundhouse, Tate, the Sutton Trust, National Theatre, Winston’s Wish, Barbican, Concern Worldwide UK and many more. With particular expertise in grant making, frontline services, and fundraising innovation, Ryan regularly shares his insights through Prospectus’ t events to audiences exceeding 100 attendees and provides strategic consultation to organisations on leadership appointments. 

 Ryan takes pride in leading complex, multi-role recruitment projects that span various disciplines. Under his leadership, the fundraising team places over 150 professionals annually. His dual responsibilities, managing fundraising mandates while guiding the broader Recruitment division across Digital, Grants, Marketing, HR, Administration, Policy, and Frontline roles, provide clients with comprehensive market expertise. 

Ryan frequently collaborates with consultancies and partners to deliver tailored recruitment training and advisory sessions for both candidates and clients. He leads a dynamic team of 15 recruitment consultants at Prospectus, fostering a bright, energetic culture dedicated to securing top talent throughout the sector.
