The London Charity Softball League came to an epic finale last week at the Millennium Arena at Battersea Park. We were thrilled to play a part as an official sponsor in making it one big celebration of the charity sector. We had such fun meeting all the players, event committee, and umpires – the positive energy throughout the arena was electric!
The London Charity Softball League formed in 2003 to provide a place for charities to meet, collaborate and build new and lasting relationships across the sector. 58 teams stepped up to the plate this year, representing causes like mental and physical health, animal welfare, climate change and more.
While the weather was overcast, the mood was upbeat. Some of the Prospectus Team spent the evening serving much welcome ice cold drinks, hosted a table tennis battle royale, and even had a furry friend make a splash in our hook-a-duck pool.
Amidst all the excitement off the pitch, we of course made time to watch the final game. Taking home the coveted trophy this year was Mind Mavericks from Mind! A massive congratulations to them and to all the teams who took part.
