Working Chance is an award-winning charity supporting women with convictions and care leavers into sustainable employment. Working with employers across all sectors, the charity provides a bespoke service helping women to turn their lives around. Working Chance also works to change the attitudes of employers, tackling prejudice about hiring staff with a conviction.
Working closely with the Chief Executive, the Head of Finance and Resources would lead on the preparation of monthly management accounts, supporting the fundraisers with the budgetary aspects of funding bids and reports, as well as preparation of the annual budget and annual accounts. Acting as the Company Secretary, they would lead on governance duties alongside strategic business planning. As well as line managing one direct report, they would oversee the development of overall office systems including HR, facilities and IT.
The placed candidate was ATT qualified and had over 12 years experience operating in a senior finance role across a broad of not for profit organisations.
