Chair
Since 1993, Women for Women International has invested in the power of over 500,000 women who are forgotten — the women survivors of war and conflict — to learn the skills they need to rebuild their families and communities.
Working at the intersection of women and conflict: providing skills, knowledge, and resources that create sustainable change for women, their families, and their communities, Women for Women International provides vital support and education for women in eight countries around the world that have felt the devastating effects of conflict.
At this critical time, Women for Women International-UK were seeking a new Chair of Trustees who was truly committed to their mission of empowering women survivors of conflict affected countries. Women for Women International-UK is entering a new phase, and their new Chair would be a part streamlining structures and global governance, and shifting power closer to their country programmes and to the women that they serve.
