Director

Spring Impact is a global social enterprise consulting firm on a mission to scale impact so that great ideas change more lives.

To support their ongoing business growth, a new Director position was created to amplify consulting offers globally, leading a team currently based in the US and UK. Key objectives of the position are to significantly raise Spring Impact’s profile, develop new relationships and drive thought leadership objectives; gain business and funding to support Spring Impact’s expansion.

Prospectus has partnered with Spring Impact on a number of leadership searches in the USA and UK, including their CEO. Our search for this Director role focused on candidates with a blend of commercial and non-profit experience, ideally within a consulting business, combined with strong entrepreneurial, marketing and business development credentials. Following our search, Emma Colenbrander was appointed.

A social entrepreneur and intrapreneur, Emma founded and led the Global Distributors Collective, a platform to drive distribution of beneficial products to hard-to-reach communities around the world. She is a co-founder and former Executive Director of Pollinate Group, a multi-award winning social enterprise in India and Nepal; and has worked with the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) focusing on development finance and innovation.

Commenting on her appointment, Emma said:

“Scaling is the holy grail in the for-purpose world, so I can’t quite believe an organisation exists that has such deep expertise in how to achieve impact at scale. I’m excited to work with the Spring Impact team as we figure out how to capitalise on that expertise and build bold new partnerships to drive impact – and to do so with curiosity, rigour and humility.”

Mohamed Osman, Spring Impact’s CEO said:

“As Spring Impact’s work is expanding to help more mission-driven organisations and individuals scale up in ever more ambitious ways, there couldn’t have been a better time to welcome someone with such a strong and in-depth expertise in partnership building, social entrepreneurship, and innovation. I am delighted to have Emma join the team to help us achieve our mission and support us to amplify our own impact.”

Emma joined Spring Impact in December 2022.
