Trustees

The Maudsley Charity, which funds mental health projects in London, mandated Prospectus to recruit new Trustees who would bring deep insights into the local community and a focus on impact and evaluations. Appointed were:

Peter Baffoe; who grew up, and lives in, Southwark. He is currently the Interim Director of South London Mission, providing strategic leadership and vision for the charity which provides support to those who are in extreme poverty or are marginalised and vulnerable in other ways. Prior to this in community development, Peter managed a patient complaints and liaison service in the NHS.

Josephine Namusisi-Riley; who lives in Lambeth and is currently Lead for the Parents and Communities Together (PACT) programme at Citizens UK where she and her team have achieved successful mental health outcomes for vulnerable parents and their families in Southwark. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the charity sector in the UK, initially working for the Citizens Advice Bureau then in the fields of HIV support, support to vulnerable children and families and outreach to those from African communities living in London.

Daniel Acquah; A Lambeth resident who is Assistant Director of Evaluation at the Youth Endowment Fund, a charity that exists to prevent young people becoming involved in violence. He has extensive experience in the evaluation of early intervention and evidence-informed policy making. He has worked in a range of different sectors including roles at the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development, the Early Intervention Foundation, and the Office for Civil Society at Cabinet Office. Daniel is a developmental psychologist with a PhD that focused on social and cognitive development.
