Digital Development Lead

London Youth appointed Prospectus to lead their search for a Digital Development Lead, who would play a crucial role at the centre of transforming the work of this well-established and influential youth development charity. With its new organisational strategy, this was a very progressive time to be joining an organisation that was consciously investing in their vision to further digitalise service delivery and leverage digital technology.

The Digital Development Lead would analyse current needs and consider opportunities across London Youth, creating a road map and exploring innovative and practical initiatives that would directly enhance the way that the charity engages with its network of member youth organisations. The postholder would develop the digital strategy while spearheading the strategic delivery and implementation of the charity’s digital development projects. They would collaborate and work closely with the ICT and Database Manager and the Director of Engagement, while also being responsible for project co-ordination where they would mobilise internal teams and project groups, as well as outsourced specialist support and agencies.

This role resides within the Engagement Directorate at London Youth, which is also comprised of Membership Development, Communications & Policy and Learning functions.

The appointed candidate was a digital, Ecommerce and Marketing leader with experience in sectors including travel, leisure, not-for-profit and retail. They hold over 10 years in Head of Department roles responsible for revenue growth, inspiring digital experiences, creative communications and persuasive content across the full customer lifecycle, delivering quality digital products and solutions that meet audience and organisation requirements.
