Heritage Lincolnshire is a charitable trust which undertakes a range of activities in the promotion and conservation of Lincolnshire’s rich and diverse heritage. The charitable aims are lifelong education, building conservation, and archaeological fieldwork and research.
Heritage Lincolnshire were seeking to appoint a new CEO with the drive, initiative, and enthusiasm to deliver the aims and objectives of the Charity. Heritage Lincolnshire were at an exciting stage of development having enjoyed significant growth over the last three years notwithstanding the pandemic.
Prospectus were instructed to identify and engage potential candidates with proven experience as a senior leader and of developing and delivering strategic and operational plans. The ideal candidate needed fundraising experience, a sound understanding of financial management and someone who was an excellent communicator and able to act as an ambassador for the organisation regionally.
The role was extremely popular attracting 56 applications from across the UK with a strong shortlist of 10 candidates with a diverse range of backgrounds. Ultimately Tracy Stringfellow was appointed who has led The Royal Greenwich Heritage Trust since it began in 2014, working closely with the local community to provide access to the range of built heritage, collections, and archives in Greenwich Heritage’s care.
