Operations and Events Manager
Coventry University is one of the UK’s leading public research universities. They appointed Prospectus to help them in their search for an Operations and Events Manager on a fixed term 12-month contract.
Working on the London campus, specifically responsible for the delivery of quality services and sustaining professional standards, the postholder would be responsibile for the reopening of the London buildings, the safe return on campus for staff and students and maintaining and ensuring appropriate stock levels across all of the London sites. The appointed candidate would work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to review and implement any COVID19 specific changes to existing policies and procedures. This post would also oversee all internal and external meetings and events, including the management of high-profile occasions and manage budgets in area of responsibility, ensuring appropriate robust planning, control and monitoring, and compliance with procurement procedures.
The successful candidate had over 8 years’ experience of working in education institutions. With extensive experience of project management, strategic planning, financial management, performance control, monitoring and evaluating projects and all aspects of human resources they were a great fit for the role.
