Cochrane is an international charitable organisation formed to synthesise medical research findings to facilitate evidence-based choices about health interventions involving health professionals, patients and policy makers.
Led by the CEO and their international leadership team, this newly reshaped Director of Development and External Relations role was an extraordinary opportunity for an inspirational, experienced, and authentic leader, passionate about evidence and health care, to join and inspire significant donors globally to support a truly impactful cause.
This fully remote role attracted a diverse shortlist of great fundraising leaders across the British Isles and beyond. The process was highly competitive and involved three rounds of interviews with the final stage being a personal meeting with the leadership and the Cochrane team in London. The successful candidate started in August 2024
