The Challenge
As the dedicated recruitment advertising partner for Citizens Advice we have worked with Citizens Advice Essex for over 5 years helping them to find top talent and raise awareness of their employer brand.
Citizens Advice Essex, working as consortium lead for the Citizens Advice service in Essex and in partnership with other networks of local Citizens Advice throughout the region has entered into a partnership with a major utility company for funding to support a large-scale increase in our capacity, working as a partnership, to support people in fuel poverty – a need that has increased significantly during the new era of rising and unstable domestic energy prices. Therefore needing 15 FTE Energy Advisers for their Fuel Poverty alleviation project.
The Solution
Leveraging our expertise in advertising, we created a media schedule that would strategically target both active and passive job-seeking candidates through regional job boards, industry-specific platforms, and social media advertising.


The Outcome
17,000 views and 1,077 apply clicks leading to over 120 applications and a shortlist of 20 candidates!
Citizens Advice Essex is the consortium lead for the Citizens Advice offices operating in Essex, Southend and Thurrock. Due to the success, we have had with obtaining new funding across multiple areas of business, we have increasingly, run the initial stages of recruitment on behalf of the network, rather than each local office advertising and recruiting on their own. It’s fair to say, therefore, that we have used Prospectus quite a lot over the last few years and it is important when we do act on behalf of our colleague local offices in this way, that we can depend on the service we are getting on their behalf.
