Philanthropy Manager

As the UK’s largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now focus on supporting anyone affected by breast cancer and do so through funding research, support helplines and groups, and advocacy work. Prospectus were delighted to be asked to help with their search for a Philanthropy Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave. 

Working closely with Breast Cancer now Prospectus gained real insight and understanding about requirements for the role and the search required. A hybrid position with a stipulation of 2 days a week in the office focused the    in-depth search on London and surrounding areas.

In order for Breast Cancer Now to deliver their new and ambitious 2025 strategy Prospectus focused on finding major donor specialists with demonstratable experience of raising significant funds from high-net-worth individuals, who were able to step into the role and successfully deliver on their part.

The chosen candidate joined Breast Cancer Now at the beginning of July 2023 bringing with them extensive major donor fundraising experience which should prove invaluable over the coming months.
