We were engaged to find an experienced Chief Executive Officer and/or Interim who could help the organisation through a period of significant change management. Candidates needed to be able to work closely with the Trustee Board and a small team to ensure the organisation was well managed and supported, whilst navigating identified internal and external challenges and leading associated change.
It was important for us to identify adaptable leaders that could bring strong people management skills, adept at ‘dropping in’ and getting up to speed quickly. Within three days we identified a number of interested candidates, four of whom went forward to interview with the trustees. The appointed candidate brought extensive Chief Executive experience from their previously roles at two national charities, as well as well as an earlier career with the corporate world. They were also local to the organisation and was delighted to focus their work more towards their local community.
