Chief Executive Officer
Job Description
Closing: 14 Jun
Job Description
Middlesex in the Community (MITC) is the charitable arm of Middlesex Cricket, dedicated to transforming lives and strengthening communities through the power of sport. As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Middlesex County Cricket Club (MCCC), we serve as the driving force for the development and growth of the recreational game across the seventeen London Boroughs that form the historic cricket county of Middlesex. Our work is rooted in the belief that cricket is a unique vehicle for social change, and our mission is to ensure the game is open, welcoming, and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, background, or ability.
Our work combines strategic oversight of the recreational game with high-impact community programming. We focus on sustaining the game by supporting a vast network of clubs and volunteers, while simultaneously expanding its reach through youth education, disability cricket, and dedicated programmes for women and girls. Operating from the “Home of Cricket,” we leverage the “Power of the Crest” to inspire participation and build a resilient workforce for the future.
The Role
We are seeking a values-driven and resilient Chief Executive Officer to lead MITC through its next chapter of growth. You will provide the strategic and operational leadership necessary to ensure the charity delivers meaningful impact while remaining financially sustainable and well-governed. Crucially, you will act as the principal bridge to Middlesex County Cricket Club, maintaining a “One County” philosophy that ensures the professional and recreational arms of the sport work in perfect harmony.
