Thrive at Five was conceived around a vision of a society that cherishes children’s development in the early years, where every child can thrive and achieve their full potential.
Using a collective impact approach, Thrive at Five is driving and supporting collaboration between funders, the public, private and the voluntary sector to improve outcomes in the early years.
Prospectus was appointed to undertake a full search and selection to find a Partnerships and Programme Director to lead Thrive at Five’s pathfinder programme. The role was responsible for building relationships and networks, feed into strategic thinking around sustainability, replicability, and scaling that would inform a national model.
Our search focused on individuals that could drive collaboration, with solid project management skills, and the ability to build a model that ensures strength in communities, achieves long term sustainability and aims to achieve long-term systemic improvements in early childhood development.
We were pleased to provide a shortlist of six strong candidates from a range a backgrounds. Ultimately Chris Wellings, formerly Assistant Director, Lambeth Early Action Partnership at the National Children’s Bureau was appointed offering thought and practice leadership from creating and leading the delivery of collective impact initiatives that support children in deprived communities.
