Student Advisor

Birckbeck were looking for a Student Advisor to provide front-line information and advisory service to students and act as the initial point of contact on a wide range of issues which affect students’ university experience. The post holder would be required to provide consistent high levels of customer service to all students and respond efficiently to all enquiries. This role would also act as the university’s financial advice lead for all student enquiries relating to the Student Loans Company and standard in-house bursaries.
The appointed candidate was an experienced and well-rounded higher education professional who held strong leadership and relationship-building skills. Theor thorough understanding of academic cycles and the role of Student Services within higher education made them a perfect fit for this role.
