Finance and Assurance Officer
ActionAid UK is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Their dedicated local staff are changing the world with women and girls.
ActionAid UK were looking for a Finance and Assurance Officer to provide expertise in relation to donor financial requirements, policy and compliance. They would work closely with the Finance and Assurance Manager to implement financial best practices and donor compliance across teams, programmes, and countries of action. They would also assist with audits and the review of income and expenditure monthly reports. Furthermore, the post holder would deliver technical financial trainings across the organisation and will support the management of grant proposals, risk management and compliance.
The successful candidate had solid financial management skills and knowledge of project cycle management as well as exposure to institutional donors’ compliance obligations, the capability to transform technical financial data into clear reports for a non-finance audience and outstanding Excel skills.
