The Challenge
Prospectus recently went through a rigorous tender process to successfully be awarded the advertising and talent attraction contact for RBG, Kew that commenced in April 2019.
The client’s previous experience of having worked with an advertising agency was managed on a very transactional basis where service levels were not being met, let alone exceeded.
The Solution
Since partnering with Prospectus, the relationship has “blossomed,” in the first three months the client has placed over 75 vacancies of varying levels through us. In return we have provided a bespoke media package for each post, written and taken briefs for senior posts and specific campaigns as well as managed a number of key cost saving media contracts to allow the client to advertise much wider than previously, with more enhanced packages and significant savings.
The Outcome
For the first time RBG Kew are using their well known and impressive brand to support their recruitment, as part of the media solutions being suggested Prospectus are, where relevant and appropriate, including solutions with imagery that’s creative and has visibility across professional networks and leading job sites. This has gone down well and RGB Kew have, already in the first three months, approved a further contract to increase the number of impressions they serve online.


A new partnership
The roles we advertise vary considerably and no two job adverts are the same. Offering new solutions and learning about RBG Kew has been interesting, insightful and a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
