Director of Technology and Transformation
The EY Foundation is an independent pioneering charity which supports young people who are disadvantaged in the job market, and employers through four high impact programmes and awareness raising. Working across the UK, they have benefitted more than 1,700 young people and 300 employers to date, and have ambitious plans to continue growing.
Following an initial consultation with EY Foundation, Prospectus were retained to conduct an in-depth head hunt of the digital and technology sectors, with specific interest in sourcing candidates with a significant knowledge of driving digital transformation and leading and implementing an integrated digital strategy. As an innovative and growing charity, this was a particularly interesting brief as this was a newly created position with responsibility for driving the digital transformation of the organisation, ensuring it plays a central role in delivering key organisational priorities and using digital to reach more young people, social enterprises, employers and volunteers.
Prospectus attracted over 108 applications for the role and supported the CEO and Chair through a rigorous search and assessment process. The successful candidate was Nick Hodder, Head of Digital & Transformation of The Brain Tumour Charity. Nick is a digital leader who brings over 20 years’ experience managing portfolios of digital products and delivering some large innovatory digital projects. He guided the Guide Dogs and The Brain Tumour Charity successfully developing and enabling innovative market leading digital and technology business strategies to achieve charity goals and targets.
