Ian is the Managing Director of our Recruitment Practice and is a passionate advocate of empowering people to be successful and developing talent to its full potential. With over 20 years’ experience of building teams and specialisms within the beyond profit recruitment sector, Ian encourages his teams to focus upon cause and sector-related specialisms that align with their interests. Since Ian joined, our Recruitment Practice has trebled in size and Ian has continued growth plans to facilitate our impact, reach and the success and development of our people.
Ian has an extensive knowledge base and network within the sector and has led on our ever-growing success with our multi-vacancy recruitment campaigns, offering a consultative recruitment service to organisations. One of Ian’s passions is demographic inclusion into fundraising, where he feels the risk of missed opportunity of talent is concerning and change is needed.
He is a passionate supporter of the sector and is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts.
Tristan specialises in recruiting permanent, temporary and contract positions in the fields of international development, heritage, housing and the NHS. Since graduating from the War Studies department at Kings College in 2006, he has held numerous positions in the private and not for profit sectors. Most recently as Schools Programme Officer at War Child and Events Administrator at the British Red Cross.
Having worked and volunteered in the sector for a number of years, he remains inspired and convinced by the sector's importance. This consultancy position has allowed him to build his knowledge and skills whilst continuing to contribute to the success of the sector.
With over 7 years’ recruitment experience, Scott specialises in Higher Education recruitment and works with many of London’s major colleges and universities, including King's College London, UCL, Queen Mary University and the Institute of Education.
Scott recruits to a wide range of temporary, contract and permanent support roles and has developed an exceptionally strong network of clients and candidates.
Ryan joined Prospectus as a Fundraising Recruitment Consultant in 2015. Ryan’s career in the beyond profit sector began in Chicago, USA where he fundraised in higher education before moving into recruitment for a variety of fundraising and beyond profit positions.
With a degree in English, Ryan is passionate about reading and writing and has volunteered for literacy programs aiding the homeless and underserved, and is passionate about social equality and opportunity. Specifically at Prospectus, Ryan leads the dedicated and energetic Fundraising Team that supports the beyond profit sector with recruitment to all levels.
Ryan is a Trustee of United AllStars, a sports engagement charity working with at risk youth in Camberwell and Peckham to help them overcome social and economic barriers to success.
As well as over 20 years of recruitment experience, Robert has played a key role in setting up a number of employability initiatives and programmes for disadvantaged groups, most recently partnering through Prospectus with Thames Reach on a year long capacity building programme.
A consultant with Prospectus for over 8 years, Robert specialises in administration and operational roles in a wide range of charities, including some of the UK's largest and most innovative trusts, foundations and grant making organisations.
Afsheen is a specialist recruiter to the Higher Education sector at Prospectus. With previous recruitment experience within Social Care, Afsheen is dedicated to supplying high quality temporary candidates who are passionate about education and learning to London Universities and Higher Education institutions.
Prior to her recruitment career, Afsheen graduated from University with a BA honours in Business and Marketing. Whilst studying, Afsheen temped for various Higher Education organisations in a number of roles. This has given Afsheen a valuable insight into the sector from both a candidate and client’s perspective.
Afsheen has recruited for roles within many Higher Education establishments including, King’s College London, SOAS, London Business School, UCL, Institute of Education, Queen Mary University and many more.
Louis is a Consultant within our Office and Professional Team. Louis joined Prospectus as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and has worked across the Office and Professional, Frontline, Senior Appointments and Executive Search team supporting the different recruitment processes. This unique level of exposure has been a great benefit as he continues to grow and develop his knowledge of the beyond profit sector and Prospectus as a whole.
Louis has volunteered with smaller charities that resonated with him, assisting on their marketing strategies to attract fundraisers and volunteers.
A Consultant in our Office and Professional team, Katy has over 10 years’ experience of recruiting within the beyond profit sector. Katy is responsible for temporary, contract and permanent recruitment ranging from general office administration to Communications, Finance and HR. In addition to working with Membership organisations Katy has a particular passion for the environmental and homeless sector along with charities who support vulnerable women.
Katy’s career in the beyond profit sector kick started as a street fundraiser progressing into a Face to Face Fundraising recruitment specialist setting up in house campaigns across the UK for a number of charities. Most recently, prior to joining Prospectus Katy worked directly for the charity Working Chance placing female ex-offenders back into sustainable employment as well as facilitating employability works shops for women in prison.
Femke graduated from Cardiff University (BSc in Social Science & Psychology) and has since worked in education & charity recruitment. Femke has been committed to the charity sector by volunteering throughout her education and career to date.
After joining Prospectus as a Recruitment Consultant on the Fundraising Team, and now as Senior Recruitment Consultant, Femke has expertise in supporting across income streams and specialises in supporting organisations and candidates within international development, humanitarian, human rights, children & families and Higher Education sectors.
Volunteering projects include: training as a Healthy Start Mentor (Family Lives) to provide an 8 week healthy eating programme for children under 5, residential ‘Thrive Outside’ programme with disadvantaged children (Free to be Kids) and ‘Growing Wellbeing’ gardening and mindfulness project (Mind).
Haydn has 12 years recruitment experience across the Social Care sector. He currently recruits for temporary positions up to senior management level within the beyond profit sector.
Haydn is an advocate of the Prospectus ethos of ‘Advantaged Thinking’ and was previously at Working Chance where he worked with women care leavers between the ages of 18-25 and supported them in to career defining apprenticeships and employment and mentoring them to attain their full potential. Haydn has also worked with women ex-offenders and used his recruitment experience to support and assist them on their journey back in to work.
Adam joined Prospectus in May 2018 as a Fundraising Recruitment Consultant. His previous roles have included Parliamentary Intern, Legislative Consultant, Campaign Volunteer Manager and Head of Bars & Catering.
Having previously worked for several campaign groups he has taken up a focus on income generation roles within environmental, advocacy and conservation causes. This ties in with his volunteering outside of Prospectus where he sits on the Executive Committee of a youth led think tank, producing reports and articles on national and local government policy.
Whilst at Prospectus, he has taken advantage of the six volunteer days given by spending time in the Trust and Foundations team at the National Autistic Society and a half day as an Advocacy Consultant at Trees for Cities as they developed their new strategy.
Matt is a Senior Consultant assisting in a wide range of recruits across the sector. He specialises in Data and Insight roles, a growing trend in the sector, and one that can offer huge resource to organisations. He also has a keen interest in heritage, arts and culture.
Matt enjoys helping small charities realise their potential and securing the right staff to help grow and develop their vision. Outside of work, Matt is a keen theatre goer and has an interest in music, film and history.
Gaining a recent degree in Childhood and Youth Studies, Tia gained a wide insight into the beyond profit sector through various placements in both the UK and the USA, such as MIND and Thislewaithe Learning Centre.
These experiences sparked a passion for Tia as she realised the great demand for devoted individuals in the beyond profit sector.
Now a part of the Office and Professional Education team, Tia seeks to develop her knowledge and skills within recruitment, working together with clients and candidates to offer the best recruitment solutions and to attract the best talent. In turn, providing an excellent service to users of the beyond profit sector.
Cleopatra is a fast-track law graduate (LLB with honours) with the University of Law and has a professional background in compliance. Before joining Prospectus she worked with public and beyond profit organisations.
As a Recruitment Consultant on our temporary team, Cleopatra helps to recruit temporary positions in the beyond profit sector. She has an interest in immigration, regulatory, public health and public sectors.
Cleopatra is a keen advocate for continuous self-improvement and is currently studying towards her MSc in Leadership and Human Resources Management.
With over eight year’s recruitment experience, Adeline has specialised in temporary, contract and permanent recruitment as well as project management across various sectors.
Adeline has joined Prospectus as a Recruitment Consultant on our Higher Education Team. Adeline has a keen focus on customer service and aims to continually provide an exceptional service to both our candidates and clients in the Higher Education sector.
Outside of work, Adeline has assisted individuals in recognising their potential by motivating and guiding them in order to achieve this. She has volunteered time by offering life coaching sessions to patients in rehabilitation. She is also very passionate about environmental causes such as keeping our beaches and oceans clean.
Rebecca is a Recruitment Consultant in our Charity Core team. She comes to Prospectus from a recruitment background covering a variety of sectors.
Since 2015, she has specialised in the IT and Digital sector with a particular focus on CRM systems. She has successfully filled vacancies across different levels of seniority and worked with a range of businesses from start-ups to multi-national companies. At Prospectus, Rebecca works mainly on contract and permanent requirements within the Office and Professional Team.
Rebecca has a growing personal interest in the beyond profit sector and is passionate about mental health and wellbeing. In her spare time, she teaches adult beginners to dance and can often be found jiving her troubles away.
Having previously worked in television production, Jessica had a change of direction in 2015 and started her recruitment career. She recently joined Prospectus as a Recruitment Consultant on our Fundraising Team.
Jessica has a passion for building and growing relationships and in providing an excellent customer experience. At Prospectus, she works across all fundraising streams at all levels of seniority. She is looking forward to developing specialist knowledge in more specific areas of the beyond profit sector, with one particular area of interest in special needs and education.
Outside of work, Jessica has worked with children with severe learning disabilities, something close to her heart as her nephew has Down Syndrome and Autism. She has also enjoyed, over the years, befriending and helping those who are older and live alone.
Before joining Prospectus, Liridona has worked as a Corporate Partnerships Assistant and as an Events Administrator for beyond profit organisations. She has also completed a Masters in Marketing and a degree in English Language.
Liridona joined Prospectus as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant on our Fundraising Team. As a Trainee, Liridona is gaining insight into placing candidates in a wide variety of roles, with a focus on income-generation, and looks forward to learning about fundraising roles at all levels including executive appointments. She wishes to develop specialisms in a wide variety of subjects, particularly mental health.
Outside of work, Liridona enjoys spending her time focused on wellbeing activities. For example; yoga and meditation, gardening, cooking and spending time with family.
Before working at Prospectus, Sam worked as a face-to-face fundraiser at the Science Museum in London. He has also volunteered extensively within the arts and heritage sector whilst completing an MA in History.
Sam’s role at Prospectus involves general Candidate resourcing and acquisition for the Fundraising team as well as providing assistance on job searches more closely with consultants on specific roles. He also acts as a first point of enquiry for the team and represents Prospectus at external events. He helps introduce Fundraisers to the team and helps steward them through the initial processes of looking for work through Prospectus.
Sam’s passions lie in the Heritage Sector. He has volunteered at a variety of institutions such as the SS Great Britain, the Brigstowe Research Institute, Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and Keats House Museum in London.
With a background in administration across various sectors, Lucy joined the Office and Professional team as the Senior Administrator in 2016 after spending a year on Prospectus’ Recruitment Advertising team.
Lucy has a particular interest in animal charities, having spent a year caring for animals on a farm and studying animal management.
A keen photographer, Lucy studied the subject at university and has previously volunteered her time to teach photography and other creative workshops in schools.
Prior to joining Prospectus Katie worked as a Personal Assistant, overseeing office management and different finance functions.
With over 10 years’ experience of overseeing revenue and resources, Katie joined Prospectus as she is passionate about working with organisations in the beyond profit sector. Katie is the Assistant to our Director of the Office and Professional Team, she manages his diary, arranges meetings, and supports with recruitment administration.
Outside of work Katie likes to spend time helping her local community either by planting flowers or picking up litter all in aid of making it a nicer place to live for all residents.
With a background in international development and face to face fundraising, Giuseppe’s passion for the beyond profit sector has taken him from the most remote communities in the Amazon Rainforest, to the streets flanking London’s skyscrapers, to the completion with distinction of an MA in International Relations and Security.
As Candidate Resourcer at Prospectus, Giuseppe is committed to researching and engaging with talented candidates aspiring to join the beyond profit sector. Part of the Office and Professional team, Giuseppe is responsible for building relationships with candidates, not only for the next role, but for their career ambitions.
Outside of work, Giuseppe is a lifelong learner into human rights, gender equality, and human security.
After graduating with a Fine Art degree in 2013, Leona spent 5 years’ in luxury retail management running several successful stores. During this time, Leona gained invaluable experience recruiting and training her own teams.
Leona joined Prospectus in 2019 as an Account Coordinator on our Education team, who supply high quality temporary and permanent candidates to universities and well-known institutions across London. As an Account Coordinator Leona is responsible for liaising with clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth recruitment and on-boarding process.
Previously, Leona has volunteered at Aston Mansfield, a community centre in Forest Gate. Here she supported the reception team and created and led a customer service training day for the charity shop volunteers.
Kieran joined Prospectus in August 2017 as an Apprentice, working as Office Administrator in the Operations team. He provides administrative support to every team across the organisation whislt working towards his Business Administration NVQ.
Kieran also acts as a part time receptionist, where he provides a professional, helpful and friendly service to all Prospectus’ clients, candidates and staff. He is in charge of managing the reception area and interview rooms, ensuring candidates register and complete tests before transferring them for their interviews.
Iain is an Administrator & Resourcer for the Office & Professional team.
Iain previously worked in the banking sector before deciding he wanted to work in the not for profit sector to focus on making improvements to people’s lives and communities as a whole.
He registered with Prospectus in 2010, working on temporary roles with charities such as Teenage Cancer Trust and the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust before joining Prospectus on a permanent basis.
Amelia is an Administrator on the Office and Professional team. Having previously worked for a number of charities, Amelia is excited to be back in the beyond profit sector and is looking forward to taking part in the voluntary projects that Prospectus offer throughout the year.
