David is the Executive Chair of Prospectus, a B Corp, something he is very proud of. David believes a business that values all stakeholders equally and looks beyond financial profit to assess its value makes a huge contribution to a better society and economy. He is very proud of the business we have built up over the years, with our values of Community, Collaboration and Trust at our core.
David speaks and writes on two passions – governance and philanthropy. He is a Trustee of a Glimmer of Hope UK and Make-A-Wish UK, and Patron of Greenhouse and Social Enterprise (UK). He has served on many boards and mentors the CEOs of two beyond profit organisations. David also serves on the steering committee of the Livery Company Project and the Jane Slowey Memorial Fund.
His career in the financial sector concluded on the board and management team of UBS AM. He then worked at BiTC.
David believes in the passion, power and ingenuity of the beyond profit sector to address the issues that ensure a better and fairer society. He would love to see the sector truly valued and treated as an integral part of a strong society.
Peter's passion for Prospectus is driven by his belief in the value of professional recruitment services that enables the charity sector to find the best people and facilitate the right choices.
He leads all operational functions and major projects at Prospectus and has an understanding not just of the infrastructure that supports Prospectus, but the interconnectivity of all the business areas. Peter regularly conducts critical analysis on how to improve the execution of our business processes. Peter’s notable successes at Prospectus include centralising all operational functions, creating and implementing a behaviours framework and 360-feedback system as well as moving processes online to improve service delivery.
Peter has also worked in partnership with charities on several projects covering employability and supporting young people. Peter is currently Chair of Trustees for Timebank, the national volunteering charity.
Lisa joined Prospectus in 2010 as a Design Account Executive where she progressed to her current role as Executive Assistant, supporting the Executive Chair, CEO and Directors with diary and project management. Lisa was our first remote member of staff, now working remotely from Leeds.
Lisa has volunteered for several charities including St Gemma’s Hospice, Richard House Children’s Hospice, Cambridge House and Kith & Kids. Lisa is currently studying for a Master’s Degree in Art Psychotherapy at Leeds Beckett University, where she hopes to work with young people suffering from adverse childhood experiences and trauma.
After a period of temping with organisations in the beyond profit sector through Prospectus, Emma joined the company as HR Admin Assistant in 2007. Having progressed through the years to her current position as Managing Director - Talent, Emma knows first-hand the importance of providing opportunity and supporting career development for all. Emma is responsible for our recruitment strategy as well as all learning and development programmes and HR.
Emma believes strongly in the importance of being a values-led employer and creating opportunities for learning across the company. Instrumental in introducing our trainee recruitment consultant programme, Emma also leads on the recruitment and support of our apprentices and has developed an extensive series of internal workshops on topics covering both recruitment skills and beyond profit sector knowledge. Emma’s position on the Leadership team ensures our people remain at the heart of all we do as an organisation.
Emma has used her volunteering time to support charities such as Crisis and Fight for Peace with CV writing and management skills workshops and is a Playmaker for the Palace for Life Foundation.
Isaac, a Fellow of CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), joined Prospectus as our Finance Director, after previously working as a CFO to increase market share and stakeholder profitability for a global organisation in the healthcare industry.
As our Finance Director, Isaac is responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance function. He works collaboratively with the Leadership Team to shape and deliver the company strategy. On a day to day basis, he also ensures that the financial systems are robust and fit for purpose – ensuring that the corporate governance and control environment within finance, supports and facilitates growth in the business.
Outside of work, Isaac is a Manager for a youth football development team undertaking FA coaching badges. He has a keen interest in supporting charities and his previous activities include: trekking to Everest base camp, climbing Kilimanjaro, UK 3 peaks challenge and running the London Marathon.
Hannah joined Prospectus in 2013 after completing her A Levels. She joined the Operations team as an Apprentice Office Assistant and successfully completed her Business and Administration NVQ after one year.
In her current role, Hannah is responsible for managing the delivery of operational services across the organisation and maintaining a tidy, safe and efficient office environment to support the activities of the business.
Hannah is a big advocate of apprenticeship schemes and passionate about Advantage Thinking and Foyer Federation’s #trustyouth campaign. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys travelling, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
Jeni joined Prospectus in 2014 as an Administrator and has now progressed to her role as our Marketing and Communications Manager.
Jeni is responsible for all digital activity including e-marketing, website and external communications, and leads on creating engaging content.
Jeni has a keen interest in the beyond profit sector and after studying fashion at university, has done several events for charities including a fashion show involving students works from London universities to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
As our in-house Database Administrator and Software Engineer it is Juergen’s task to keep the IT environment up to date and to implement those ever changing requirements set by business needs and statutory rules.
After earning a degree (Diploma) in Physics in Germany, Juergen took a colourful route (performing musician, joinery, bodywork) to finally work as a software engineer, first in Germany and Switzerland, and since 2003 at Prospectus.
Rahat joined Prospectus as an Office Support Assistant in 2017 and provides general operational and administrative support across the organisation including IT and Telecoms, whilst also providing comprehensive support to the Finance team.
Rahat was driven to join Prospectus as he has an interest in charities that support children as well as organisations that help war victims. He frequently volunteers at his local football club, boxing gym and at fitness boot camps.
Hong-Le began her career in the beyond profit sector working for a charity that provided basic IT and Internet training to the elderly and people with disabilities. Hong-Le worked for this charity for over ten years, and in that time she learnt a lot about the sector and found the feedback from this service was always positive and very rewarding to see.
Hong-Le works in our finance team as our Finance Officer and her responsibilities include checking and updating invoices, creating purchase orders, credit control, payroll and assisting the finance team on all aspects of accounts.
When Hong-Le is not working, she likes to spend time with her family and fit in some crochet time. She is hoping to master her crochet skills soon and plans to donate the items she creates to her local charities.
Before joining Prospectus, Patricia worked at Oasis and Warehouse as a Commercial Finance Analyst, responsible for planning and reporting of multi brand functions and preparation of monthly board packs.
At Prospectus Patricia works in our finance team as a Finance Officer and her responsibilities include checking and updating invoices, bank reconciliations, credit control, payroll and supporting the overall finance team function.
Outside of work, Patricia is studying to become a management accountant and volunteers for a homelessness charity. This will be her second year volunteering at the C4WS winter night shelter.
Sophie joined Prospectus in June 2018 as Talent Assistant, providing support to the Head of Talent.
With a background in customer service and retail administration, Sophie spent 7 years at Topshop where she found her passion for improving efficiency and processes and the importance of a positive attitude, transferring these skills from the shop floor into a variety of head office administration roles.
Studying Technical Theatre at college and being part of a classical guitar consort for 8 years, Sophie enjoys finding ways of being part of a team, working together to create something great.
Sophie has a keen interest in dogs and is looking forward to getting involved with animal charities in the future and exploring the beyond profit sector to find areas where she can help make a difference.
Olivia joined Prospectus after completing her A-levels in Media studies, Film Studies and English Literature. Following her A-Levels, Olivia worked for a retail organisation for a short period before choosing to focus on her interest in marketing.
Olivia then was given the opportunity to start working within Prospectus as a Digital Marketing Apprentice. Olivia’s role involves working with the Marketing and Communications Manager to help in the implementation of Prospectus’ digital presence, e-newsletters, website, brand development, social media and events.
Her experience with charities outside of work is rather wide. For example, she has worked with a local nursery during her National Citizen Service but also at a local goat sanctuary during the completion of her Duke of Edinburgh Award!
Shanaz has always had an interest in customer service due to previously working in childcare and retail, as well as being involved with different charities which led to her interest in the beyond profit sector. She is currently the Receptionist at Prospectus, being the first point of contact for all staff, clients and candidates; providing a warm, personal and professional service.
Her roles involves helping with enquiries, working with the admin team in order to complete administrative tasks and managing the reception area and interview rooms.
In her spare time, Shanaz volunteers at her local community centre to help bring joy and friendship to the lives of some of the most isolated members of the community.
