Young Social Reporters
Over a quarter of those who attended Chain Reaction 2009 were under the age of 21 - and a group of these young people from Community Links, We Are What We Do and the British Youth Council did an amazing job filming, interviewing and reporting their way through the event.
Supported by film-maker David Arkinsaras and the team from The Big V bus, the Social Reporting team created this film of the day >>>

What happened?
There were inspirational speeches from Major Phil Packer and Simon Berry of ColaLife. There was speed networking with Oli Barrett, and there were participative panel sessions, interactive workshops and the open space area where participants could create their own agenda and hold their own meetings / discussions.
All this plus - the social media surgery, investment advice with Social Investment Business, live pitching for funding with UnLtd, and the evening NFPtweetup.
Over the coming weeks will be be working hard to get the Chain Reaction website up to date with all the video, notes, presentations and links to further information from all of the workshops and sessions at the event.

A Big Thank You
We would like to thank all of the collaborative efforts of our partners and supporters for helping to make the event possible.
In particular Canary Wharf Group Ltd and Clifford Chance for donating the wonderful venues for the event and to DCLG and the Cabinet Office for helping to get the event off the ground in the first place. Thanks too to Sun Startup Essentials for lending us laptops to use at the event and for Prospectus for supporting our printing and design.
We would also like to thank the generosity of our bursary supporters who 'paid it forward' and helped us provide free places for people who not have been able to attend the event otherwise
And finally - a huge thank you to our volunteers who gave their time and worked hard to help register delegates, make sure everything ran to time, and be there to give help and advice throughout the day. We couldn't have done it without them!
