We pride ourselves on encouraging Prospectus staff to give their time to charities and voluntary organisations, strengthening our links with the sector and supporting a huge range of causes with invaluable skills and experience. All our employees are given six days volunteering leave each year. How they use it is up to them. Examples include:
- Several senior members of staff hold board level positions with a wide range of charities
- Supporting a local school by helping children with their reading
- Providing mentoring to refugees, helping them to gain new skills as part of a local support scheme
- Helping a local community centre to run a monthly tea dance for pensioners
- Working on conservation projects in and around London
- Helping children’s charities with cooking and tennis lessons
- Supporting a local church’s Bible week
