Case study: Teach First
Background: Teach First is an independent charity founded to encourage top graduates who would not normally enter teaching to teach for at least two years in challenging secondary schools in London, the North West and the Midlands. With tailored leadership training developed with over 100 employers, Teach First aims to develop the leaders of the future.
The assignment: Prospectus was invited to bid to partner Teach First in a large recruitment campaign following their expansion within London, Yorkshire, the Midlands and the North West. The organisation had successfully recruited for a number of posts through a successful online campaign. However, they still needed to fill a number of posts in a very quick time frame, and did not have the in-house resources to do so.
Teach First wanted to work with a professional organisation that would understand their needs, culture and the roles offered whilst also providing a fast, effective and cost efficient service for this top priority campaign. Following our successful tender bid, we have developed a strong working relationship with Teach First, and our understanding of this complex organisation continues to strengthen. We have successfully resourced a number of excellent candidates for Teach First through the campaign, and our consultants have developed an excellent overview of the competencies, qualities and skill sets Teach First need in their candidates.
