With a new structure and vision in place for the Communications, Campaigns and UK Programmes directorate we are looking for a Director to establish this vision through strong, supportive leadership and the ambition to deliver our new plans during a 1 year maternity cover contract. At an exciting time as we prepare to launch our new organisational strategy, the Interim Director of Communications, Campaigns and UK Programmes will ensure our brand position goes from strength to strength, lead the team as we embark on our digital transformation, continue the growth of our vital UK programmes and work with others to drive our exciting advocacy agenda. Through inspiring and collegiate leadership, this post holder will ensure a thriving function across all teams. The Interim Director will also play a key role in strategic organisational decision making, alongside senior leader peers and the Chief Executive.

We are looking for a positive, proactive and inspiring leader who truly enables and develops their teams and is adept at both providing hands-on support and strategic direction. With broad communications and campaigns experience and a solid understanding of brand, digital and profile management, you will be used to working at an organisation-wide level. You will be adaptable and open to taking on additional responsibilities and will be driven by providing an inclusive environment for your team to thrive. Ideally you will have experience within the youth sector, or a true passion to develop this knowledge.
