We are the UK's leading cancer charity for children and young people. Our care teams provide specialist support to 7,000 young people each year going through cancer treatment across the UK. We provide grants and free accommodation to help with spiralling costs. We lobby the government to make sure they get the support they're entitled to. We're here to make sure young cancer patients can focus on getting their lives back on track. We want everyone under 25 with cancer, and their families, to thrive, not just survive.

Associate Director of Brand & Strategic Marketing Communications

In the last few years we've developed an enviable reputation for brave, compelling and transparent content. Now, an incredible opportunity has arisen for an exceptional brand and marketing communication expert to take our brand even further. If that's you, read on.

Our Associate Director of Brand & Strategic Marketing Communications will lead a key programme of our new five-year strategy; strengthening our voice. This will require us to deliver a clear brand essence and proposition, raise our profile, and broaden our tone of voice so it can be flexed for a wider range of audiences.

As an integral part of the Operational Leadership Team, the Associate Director of Brand and Strategic Marketing Communications will translate our new strategic vision and lead a fantastic team working collaboratively across the organisation. This role will lead by example in ensuring young cancer patients are at the heart of everything we do. We don't just want them to contribute, but to co-design, because they know better than anyone else what it's like to have cancer when you're young.

We are looking for an ambitious leader with a strategic working style who is experienced in brand and marketing. You'll be highly collaborative and a natural relationship builder, able to quickly gain buy-in and trust from colleagues at all levels. You'll be at ease planning resources and, critically, you'll be passionate about CLIC Sargent's vision to be there for every child and young person affected by cancer. So in short, you'll be a little bit of a genius and an all-round good egg.
