Our client is a charity who aim to provide free, impartial and confidential advice to people facing a variety of issues. They are currently looking to recruit a Debt Adviser to deliver a highly quality debt advice service in order to maximise people's income and minimise their expenditure.
As a Debt Adviser, you will be delivering outreach debt and money advice to vulnerable clients (advice is delivered through appointments, telephone, written correspondence and through other appropriate channels). Using the Money Advice Map - Tool questionnaire, you will assess client's needs and will help draft action plans appropriately. You will also make relevant referrals, and assist and advise clients, negotiating with third parties, ensuring that they receive the best quality of support.
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable experience of delivering effective debt and money advice to a variety of vulnerable people. You will have knowledge or be trained under the Debt Relief Order (DRO), and be capable to manage and deliver caseloads in a manner that complies with the charity's auditing standards. Due to the nature of the role, you will have current knowledge on legislation, policies and procedures relevant to debt and debt advice.

Please also note, this role will be based across sites in Fulham and Shepherds Bush with occasional outreach cover required in Hounslow and Barnet.
