The Senior Appointments team works alongside our Executive Search team providing an alternative approach to the recruitment of c-suite roles such as Director and CEO posts. This team has historically focused on permanent posts, meaning we have serviced interim posts from dual desks (perm + interim).
We have recognised that our clients have a strong need for a high quality service to fill interim or consultancy posts filled for a number of key reasons; to cover a period of time to recruit on a permanent basis, to cover unexpected leave or because there is a specific project which requires a consultant.
Seeing that to solve our clients recruitment problems efficiently we need to act quickly, we have realised this can conflict with the more rigid permanent processes that we run. With this in mind, we have recently spun-off interim posts to establish a stand-alone desk. We are already seeing successes.
Our intention is to bring a new consultant on to the Senior Appointments team who is ‘interims’ minded. They will bring their expertise of running a desk of interims/contractors and understand the approach needed in how to network with professional interims, and understand the various pay mechanisms available. This is an exciting time to join us and spearhead our journey into the interims market with sole responsibility for this area.
The sector we work in is extremely diverse; two roles are rarely the same, which gives a level of interest which few other sectors can match. If you love to learn new things on a daily basis and use your existing interim recruitment skills this could be the role for you. However, you will not be alone with incredible knowledge around you in our 60 strong organisation. There is no ceiling to the seniority of roles worked - allowing you to develop your knowledge across all senior posts.
