Prospectus is delighted to announce Joe Irvin's appointment as the new Chief Executive for NAVCA, and wish him every success in this challenging new role.
Prior to this key appointment, Joe was chief special advisor to John Prescott in his role as Deputy Prime Minister, and worked in the policy unit at 10 Downing Street when Gordon Brown was Prime Minister. He previously served as director of public affairs at the British Airports Authority and director of parliamentary affairs at the RSPB, and has recently finished working as an adviser to the Communication Workers Union.
Working with outgoing chief executive Kevin Curley up until March 2012, Joe will take the reins following Kevin’s retirement after 8 years in the post.
