Prospectus was retained to recruit a Lay HR Trustee and a Lay Audit Trustee for King’s College London Students' Union, one of the largest Students’ Unions in the UK.
The identified candidate for the Lay HR Trustee was Sonika Sidhu who recently finished her trusteeship at The Scouts Association, and who brought broader HR experience and governmental knowledge from her role at the Department for Work and Pensions, and longstanding governance experience gained throughout her career into this Trustee role.
Uzair Patel was successfully placed into the Lay Audit Trustee role. Uzair is a King’s Alumni and was awarded Honorary Life Membership for an excellent, outstanding and wide-ranging contribution to King’s College London Student Union and the King’s College London community. Uzair brings a diverse range of skills to the role from his current position at Barclays Investment Bank, and from his non executive positions as Ambassador of One Young World and Governor of Southwalk Council, as well as a genuine passion for King’s.
