The National Lottery Heritage Fund sustains and transforms a wide range of heritage through innovative investment in projects with a lasting impact on people and places. As the largest dedicated funder of the UK’s heritage, with around £300million a year to invest in new projects and a considerable body of knowledge, they are also a leading advocate for the value of heritage to modern life. From museums, parks and historic places to archaeology, natural environment and cultural traditions, the Fund invest in every part of UK heritage.
Prospectus were approached by the Fund to support with the recruitment of an Interim Director of Marketing and Communications. With limited change in the organisation over recent years the Fund is going through a period of transition and were keen to recruit for a senior level marketing and communications professional to galvanise the existing team and provide exceptional leadership at this time. In addition to bringing broad senior level experience from across the sector, the Fund were also keen to find an inspiring, collaborative leader with excellent people management skills to bring new ideas and creativity to the role and the team.
The National Lottery Heritage Fund have now appointed Jill Cochrane, a senior level marketing and communications professional who has a proven track record across the not for profit and public sectors. With 8 years’ recent experience as a consultant, Jill has worked across a range of roles for a variety of organisations, bringing experience of marketing and communications, fundraising and campaign management that is needed to deliver change and achieve results over a short time period.
